This is the fourth course of The Theology Program, a full curriculum in Christian theology taught at the classroom level for ordinary church members. C. Michael Patton and Rhome Dyke spend ten sessions on the doctrine of humanity and sin from every side: why God created man, the great historic debate over what a human being is made of and where the soul comes from, the dignity of the image of God and how much of it survived the fall, the three views of original sin from Pelagius through Augustine and Arminius, the question of free will and the bondage of the heart, and finally the theology of male and female, with the egalitarian and complementarian positions each argued at full strength.
